Kiran Skips Chiru's Breakfast To Azad

Kiran Skips Chiru's Breakfast To Azad
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s absence at the breakfast offered by Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi to AICC in-charge of Andhra affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad and other members of the PCC coordination committee on Friday morning raised many eyebrows.
Though Chiranjeevi invited the Chief Minister as well, Kiran skipped the meeting. Also conspicuous by his absence despite invitation was Eluru MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao. However, several other Congress leaders including those not part of the coordination committee came to Chiranjeevi’s residence for the breakfast meeting.
Though Kiran Kumar Reddy’s absence is attributed to his Tirupati visit, the reason is otherwise, as he left for Tirupati at 11 am.
Apparently, the Chief Minister was peeved at the way several PCC leaders, supposed to be the followers of PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, lodged complaints with Azad against his style of functioning. May be he thought there would be more complaints against him at Chiranjeevi’s breakfast meeting.
Kavuri also avoided coming to Chiranjeevi’s house amidst reports that he was the one who had obstructed the latter’s chances of making it to the Central cabinet.
