The Congress party leaders are hoping against the hope, in their desperate bid to retain power even in the 2014 elections.
Senior Congress MLA and former minister J C Diwakar Reddy has expressed hope that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would make a home coming into the Congress party before 2014 elections.
“There is no other option before him. In fact, all the other leaders who had left the party on some pretext or the other would come back into the Congress by that time,” he said.
Another senior MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy said there would be no alternative to the Congress party even after 2014.
“There is no future for the regional parties in the state. They cannot address the problems of the people, as their whole intention is to come to power at any cost. The Kiran government will revive the glory of the party this year,” he said.
