Pharmacist Grade - III - Public Service Commission, West Bengal
The public Service Commission in the state of West Bengal is called as Public Service Commission, West Bengal and it is working under the control of Government of West Bengal, functioning with the objective of appointing appropriate candidates for different government jobs arising in the state of West Bengal.

Public Service Commission, West Bengal has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Pharmacist/Pharmacist-cum-Salesman Grade III in the Directorate of ESI (MB) Scheme under Labor Department and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the commission in this respect:
Name of the Vacancy: Pharmacist/Pharmacist-cum-Salesman Grade III
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 64, which is divided among the different category as follows:
• SC – 14
• ST – 04
• OBC (Category A) – 06
• OBC (Category B) – 05
• Persons with disability (Low vision or blindness) – 01
• Persons with disability (Hearing Impairment) – 01
• Meritorious sports persons - 02
Apart from these reservations, the other vacancies are applicable for general category candidates.
Pay scale: Candidates selected for the position of Pharmacist/Pharmacist-cum-Salesman Grade III in Public Service Commission, West Bengal will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.7100-37600 with Grade Pay of Rs.3600 under pay band 3.
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have passed their higher secondary examination from the higher secondary education Council of the state of West Bengal with biology/mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects with two-year diploma in Pharmacy approved by the West Bengal Government and they must be registered as A category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council.
Age requirement:
Upper age limit is 37 years as on the 1st of January 2011.
Application fee:
Candidates must enclose Indian Postal Order worth Rs.160 along with their application endorsed and crossed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by receipted challan from the Government Treasury in the West Bengal or the RBI, Kolkata under the head ‘0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees’. The postal order should be payable at GPO, Kolkata and cash, Bank draft, cheque and MO will not be accepted.
